Due to workload, shortage of staff, overload of duties and many other hassles, the work of the police department often becomes excessive. Due to this increasing work, many works of common people also start getting pending due to which the work of police also starts increasing. Ludhiana Police has also organized special camps with the aim of removing the burden of this pending work.

The applications were disposed of on the spot by setting up a special camp for disposal of padding applications. By settling the pending cases in this way, while the work of the Punjab Police is poor, the common people have got a lot of relief.

According to the guidelines given by Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chahal IPS, Hon'ble Commissioner of Police Ludhiana, special camps were arranged today on 10th March 2024 in all the police stations under Police Commissionerate Ludhiana to speed up the process of disposal of applications. Petitioners reached these special camps in large numbers and responded well to this police initiative.

The petitioners who reached these special camps got all the information related to their case in full detail. The concerned police officers also showed full activity in these camps and took all relevant steps for early disposal of the grievances of the people. People's questions were listened to with full attention. Someone's question was small and someone's question was more big and complicated, but the officers who arrived for this purpose in different police stations called both the parties according to these requests and listened to both sides. Thus, 3782 applications were disposed of on the spot.

The Honorable Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana said that the applications which are pending under Pathtal will also be disposed of as soon as possible and such special camps will continue from now on so that the applications can be disposed of only on occasion for the convenience of the public. .
